About Ruby
- Good with other dogs
- Needs someone home most of the time
- Needs another dog companion in the home
- Needs another active dog playmate of similar size
Sweet Ruby came into rescue after showing up at a homeowner’s garage one day. Clearly neglected, she wanted love, food, and a warm bed. Early pictures showed her to be of the Springer variety, so we took her in! Lucky girl I’d say!
Ruby is all about love and attention! She is amazingly wonderful with children ages four and above. She is affectionate, happy, healthy, and spayed. Ruby knows no strangers; she thinks everyone is her friend. That little wiggle butt goes into high gear when people approach her.
Ruby enjoys boating and learning how to swim ( like a Springer). She is all about her toys, stuffed animals, and running around with another active dog. Ruby is not destructive. She’s as busy as you would expect a young dog to be. She walks fairly well on a leash. Ruby sleeps in a crate at night and while her people are out of the home. Ruby does not mind being left in a crate for short periods of time. Ruby is working on her house training. Ruby will enthusiastically hop in the car for rides to anywhere you take her. With plenty of exercise, Ruby settles inside quite nicely for naps.
If Ruby could have been a Springer, she would have been. This little girl is delightful, warm, and as sweet as can be. Her Forever Family will adore her, as she is lovely in all ways dog. Ruby will bring you so much joy, laughter, and memories over the years.
