Panda’s foster dad describes him as a gentle, sweet boy who is thrilled to be an indoor dog in foster care. He is very people-oriented and wants to please. He is curious and will stare at his people as if he is trying to figure out what they are doing and how they would like him to respond. He is a smart dog who will be quick to learn the routine in his Forever Home.

This handsome black and white boy has markings that really do look something like a panda bear, and he has a full tail. He recently got something of a makeover – a bath and a much-needed short haircut. He is working on re-growing his pretty Springer feathering.

Panda was an outside dog before rescue and is enjoying the great indoors these days. He is a good snuggler and a good watchdog. He seems to get along well with dog-savvy cats and some dogs, though he has shown some resource guarding with dogs in the past. He makes an excellent sous chef, contentedly laying on the kitchen floor while his foster family cooks.

He would be a good fit for an active all-adult family, dedicated to additional training, and a fenced yard.  He is a strong boy who pulls on his leash and needs some practice meeting new people.
