Hi y’all,
Opie’s my name and chase is my game – well, at least one of my games. I love to romp and play with the other pups here in my foster home almost as much as I love hanging out with my foster dad. I’m always up for chasing my canine pals, chasing my balls and even chasing the lawnmower!
I’m also quite fond of human attention and I go out of my way to make sure my people feel the love. Humans seem to need a lot of snuggling, and I’m more than happy to do just that!
My foster dad says I’m a good boy, and I’ve tried really hard to figure out the rules and make him proud. At feeding time and treat time, I run right into my crate and wait for my turn, and he always brings my food to me. I’ve got him trained!
I’m always up for a challenge or a new adventure, and I love meeting and greeting new people. I’ve heard about something called obedience school and I’m hoping to give that a try; getting treats and praise for learning tricks or following commands sounds like a blast.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Opie
From his foster dad: Opie will make someone a wonderful companion. He’s very affectionate, intuitive, SMART and eager to please. lives to play and gets along with every animal he’s been introduced to. He is still a young guy with lots of energy, so he would do best with an active family.
If you’re interested in adopting Opie, please submit an Online Adoption Application. It is always the first step in our adoption process.
