Meet Molly!
This darling girl came to ESRA so we could help find a more suitable home environment for her. Her family loves her enough to recognize that she needs a calmer, quieter household. Their busy home, with a lot of visitors and family in and out, makes Molly too anxious and she can’t truly settle. She loves people but prefers to have just a few regulars around in a quiet home. Because of this, we are looking for an all-adult adoptive home.
Molly is a mix of two wonderful breeds–English Cocker Spaniel (60%) and English Springer Spaniel (40%). She has a lot of energy, loves to play fetch and have her people around to engage with her in play. She might even enjoy accompanying you on a run. Some of her general anxiousness might be addressed with more and consistent exercise and stimulation. Note that she doesn’t seem to have separation anxiety.
Molly is okay with other dogs, although she doesn’t have much interest in playing with them. She is happy to peacefully coexist with other dogs and is untested with cats. She is house trained, crate trained, and travels well in the car. She does well at the vet but can get anxious there at times.
Molly is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her family attended some obedience classes with her, but a refresher with her adoptive family would be great. And what better way to bond with a new dog than through training.
Molly is a sweetheart who needs a patient but active family (in a quiet home environment) to help her become the best dog she can be.
