About Millie
- Good with other dogs
- Needs securely fenced yard
- High exercise needs
Meet Miss Millie, a lover of the great outdoors, human cuddles, and romps with other young, active pups. This two-year-old is finally getting all the care and attention she deserves. She hasn’t had much training, and indoor life may be a new experience for her. But she is happily embracing change and settling in nicely in foster care.
Millie does need to learn her basic commands and to keep four paws on the floor when greeting people. But she is a happy, outgoing girl who is eager to please and would likely be a quick study. Her foster dad describes her as an affectionate teddy bear of a dog. Millie walks surprisingly well on her leash. Inside, like most young Springers, she will explore countertops if tasty treats are within reach.
In foster care, she is best friends with the young foster dog and respectful of an older resident dog. She does have a rough play style and would enjoy another playful dog as a companion in her Forever Home. But what she wants the most is one-on-one attention from her people.
A fenced yard is a must for Millie. She loves exploring the great outdoors but needs a secure place to sniff, run and chase those birds and squirrels.
