Meet Marshmallow (“Marsha”) and Bridget – twice the love, twice the joy!
Some dogs are simply better together, and Marshmallow (“Marsha”) and Bridget are one of those special pairs. These sweet 6-year-old sisters are looking for a Forever Home where they can continue sharing life’s adventures—and the couch!
These adorable Springer Spaniel mixes (with a little short-legged mystery mixed in!) couldn’t be more charming. Bridget, at 26 pounds, has shorter legs and a longer body that hint at a little Dachshund or Basset ancestry. Marsha weighs 36 pounds and has the sweetest, softest expression that perfectly matches her gentle personality.
Bridget is the confident, watchful sister with a bright, intelligent face. She’s wonderful with dogs, cats and children, and always seems to be looking out for her sister. Marsha is calm, affectionate, and easygoing. She loves to cuddle and is happiest relaxing nearby. While she’s still a little too interested in cats and can occasionally be selective with other dogs, she does beautifully with Bridget and has done well with easygoing canine companions.
Watching these two together is pure entertainment. Whether they’re quietly lounging side by side or making each other laugh with their silly antics (like Bridget walking right underneath Marsha!), it’s clear they enjoy each other’s company. They’re not inseparable, but they bring out the best in one another, and we’d love to see them stay together.
Both girls settle beautifully in the house. They’re happy to curl up on the couch while you go about your day and don’t need to be attached to your side every minute. Their gentle, relaxed nature makes them wonderful companions for a quieter home.
A few things to remember about these girls:
Friendly, affectionate, and love to cuddle;
Easygoing and calm indoors;
Best suited for a quieter household;
We’d love for them to be adopted together;
Bridget is great with dogs, cats, and kids;
Marsha does best without cats and with calm, respectful dogs.
If you’re looking for two sweet souls who will fill your home with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and double the love, Marsha and Bridget are ready to meet you. They may have arrived in rescue together, but we’re hoping their happiest chapter is still ahead—with you.
Please submit an Online Adoption Application if you are interested in Marsha and Bridget. It is always the first step in our adoption process.
