Huck is a happy, wiggly 3-year-old liver-and-white tri-color male. He came to ESRA with his littermate and they were adopted together.  However, after a few months, Huck started to fight with his brother and resource guard toys, so we are looking for a home where Huck can be the only dog and king of his castle.

Huck is a true Velcro Springer. He loves to cuddle and be with his people. He is very smart and receptive to training. Huck can be a bit anxious when meeting new people in his home or on walks. He loves children but should not be in a home with young children because he will resource guard both the child’s toys and dog toys. Huck also began to show signs of dominance over his littermate and we believe it would be best for him to be in an only-dog home. We have not had the opportunity to test Huck with a cat.

Huck loves car rides and is always up for an adventure walk or hike. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

This gorgeous boy is ready to meet his forever family. If you would like to meet Huck, please submit an Online Adoption Application if you are interested in him. It is always the first step in our adoption process.
