About Grover
- Good with other dogs
- Needs securely fenced yard
Warning: cuteness overload! Meet Grover, a six-month-old bundle of Springer puppy energy and love. He is the full package: everything a Springer pup should be.
Grover is friendly, happy, and outgoing, and he gets along great with everyone. He quickly learned that his younger Springer foster sister is willing to wrestle and play, and he is respectful to the older Springer who prefers to be left alone.
He is housetrained, leash-trained, and is tolerating the crate. Like all puppies, he still has a few lessons to learn, but he is smart and eager and wants to be a good boy. We always recommend an obedience class using positive reinforcement to fine-tune every puppy’s skills and bond with their adopters.
His ideal home would include active humans who can give him the time, attention, love, and exercise that he needs. Another playful dog in the home would be a plus. Grover would also like a well-stocked toy basket. He loves all dog toys, particularly chew toys that allow him to work on his puppy teeth. He understands that he should do that with toys, but not with clothing or non-toy items.
Grover’s foster family describes him as “love in dog form.” He’s a happy and sweet boy who adjusted quickly to their foster home and would do the same in a Forever Home with adopters who have plenty of love and attention — and just a bit of patience. After all, he is still just a puppy.
