About Delta
- Good with other dogs
- Needs someone home most of the time
This sweet young girl came to ESRA from a family with four children, whom she loved and played with on a regular basis. She lived outside in a large pen for months. Sadly, the family could not afford her or her canine family, so she came into rescue.
In foster care, Delta has been spayed and given all core vaccines. She transitioned nicely to inside living in her foster home. She is now housetrained. She sleeps in a crate at night and when the foster family leaves for short periods. Delta is well-loved by the grandchildren and other adults. She takes a little while to warm up to new people. She is affectionate, sweet, and overall a lovely, gentle girl. Delta is active and loves to play. She enjoys and does fantastically on her leash walks. Delta has free run of the house when her family is home. However, she periodically monitors the counter situation so keep any too delicious delights away from the edge! She will countersurf; a stern “OFF” will have four feet back on the floor.
Delta is fine with other dogs. Cats are unknown at this time. Presently Delta does not get on the furniture or beds. She is that well-behaved and sweet.
