About Charlie
- Experience with cats
- Good with other dogs
- Needs securely fenced yard
Charlie is an energetic field-bred Springer sporting a three-quarter-length tail, and boy, does it wiggle when he’s focused on critters in the yard! He came from a breeder who raised dogs for hunting, but he flunked “Hunting 101.” Sometimes he gets a little overly excited and will try to dig up the critters in the yard, but he stops with a firm “No!” He does like to play in mud puddles too (or so we hear) but shows no interest in the pool.
Charlie is such a sweetheart. He loves everyone, including other dogs and children (but he’s probably too much for toddlers because he could accidentally knock the little ones over. Charlie immediately bonded with one of his human foster sisters, so we believe he would be happiest with children in his Forever Home.
Charlie loves to play ball – a lot! He will drop the ball, trying to get his person to throw it again. Charlie loves his walks and only pulls slightly on the leash. He’s a quick study and with a little more practice, he should be a champ. He knows sit and come and is up to date with all his vaccines.
Charlie’s forever home should have a fenced yard (he may not know when to stop running!) Children who would play with Charlie until he is ready to cuddle on the couch would be ideal. Charlie absolutely loves kids!
Charlie is a special, happy little boy. He will love everyone in his Forever Family and all their friends. How about adopting Charlie and bringing all his love and joy into your home?
