Our sweet little Zelda is ready to find her Forever Family. This seven-month-old darling came to ESRA as a timid puppy with limited exposure to most things. But with the help of her wonderful foster family, she has really adapted well. She is afraid no more! Zelda has come out of her shell and has learned how much fun life can be.
This pretty girl shares her foster home with a male Springer, a cat, and lots of grandchildren. She interacts very well with all of them, as they do with her. Her foster dad says that Zelda is truly one of the most loving fosters they have ever had— she wants to be close to her people all the time. She’s truly a Velcro springer!
Zelda has been spayed and microchipped. She is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventives, and she is current with all of her vaccinations. Zelda sleeps in her crate with little fuss and is doing great with her housetraining. She will need some more work on leash training.
This very active youngster will do well in a home where she can run and play. Having someone around more often than not would be ideal for this growing girl. Zelda loves to play fetch, and she brings her toy right back. She comes when she is called and responds very well to the No command. As would be necessary with any puppy, Zelda’s new Forever Family will need to be committed to patience, understanding, and continued training. Our special little lady is a quick learner, and we have no doubt that she can be trained to be an outstanding companion.
