Rex is an eight-year-old liver-and-white male looking for his Forever Family. His current family loves him very much, but he is fighting with another dog in the home. They have turned to ESRA to help find a loving family for Rex.
Rex does well with other dogs at the dog park. He mostly ignores them and instead asks his family to throw his ball. He will happily chase his ball until you tire out. Rex is fine with cats, but really does want to be the only dog in his new home.
Rex has an old leg injury that gets sore at night so he takes an inexpensive pain pill. He also has a brace that is used when he chases his ball. The injury does not slow him down in any way, so his family has to be watchful to be sure he doesn't do too much. Rex enjoys daily walks and, in typical Springer fashion, is happy to hang out getting snuggles and belly rubs. Because of his leg injury we feel that Rex should not be in a home with small children. He is protective of his leg and may give a low growl if he feels uncomfortable when his leg is touched.
Rex uses a doggie door in his current home with access to a fenced back yard. He is house trained and up to date on all current vaccinations.
