- Black Tricolor
What a handsome Prince has come into the care of rescue! A very good looking black and white tri-colored boy, Prince is 11 years young. Click the logo at the right to read about the benefits of adopting one of our special senior dogs.
His foster mom describes him as a lovable, playful, attention seeking boy. He will bring his leash to his foster mom when he is ready to go outside and go for a walk. He loves tennis balls and when he is excited he loves to walk around happily with a toy in his mouth.
Prince is fine with the resident Springer except when she tries to eat out of his bowl – she gets a low growl for that. Otherwise, the two get along. Prince was reportedly attacked by several dogs at a dog park prior to coming into rescue. For that reason we feel he would do best with another female or as an only dog.
Prince is also well-behaved with the three young children in the home. Make sure you do not have a Roomba – Prince thinks it’s something to chase and enjoys nipping at it!
He is very calm during the day but seems to whine a bit in the evening. Walking him or playing ball settles him down again. He’s healthy, with a bit of hearing loss that is typical for a senior Springer.
Prince would be happy in a Forever Home with adopters who will play with him, cuddle him and love him like the great dog he is.
