- Black Tricolor
Phineas is a sweet boy – and he is a beautiful dog! He loves nothing more than to be with his people.
Phineas has been in foster care for about a month now and his foster mom says he is a couch potato. He likes walks and drinking from the sprinkler.
Phineas was surrendered because he was not getting along with the resident dog. He is dog selective and would do best as the only dog in his new Forever Home. He will play and play with the foster home’s male Springer and they even sleep together. It seems that when play escalates to an intense level, it is too much for Phineas. Playtime with another dog should always be monitored.
Phineas would like a home where he is not left alone very much as he does have some separation anxiety. He is a very devoted companion to his people and would love to cuddle with his new family on the couch! Phineas is great in the car, too. He is good with children and is afraid of cats. Due to his tendency to have separation anxiety, Phineas needs to be crated while his family is away from home.
