Life is good! Let’s have some fun!
Max is enjoying himself these days. His days are full playing with toys, going on walks with his foster brother and running and snuggling with his foster family. Nothing is more fun than chasing tennis balls!
It hasn’t always been so great for Max. He was found wandering by himself in central Kansas. He was bedraggled, matted, anxious and scared. Max has a good spirit, though, and has bounced back quickly with the love and care he has received.
Max is house, doggy door and crate trained. He walks well on leash with his foster brother and comes when he is called. He has not been tested off leash and we don’t know how he would do with cats. He is a polite passenger in the car. He has good house manners, although he occasionally indulges in counter surfing. He certainly would enjoy basic obedience training with his new family.
Our boy is a likable, genial fellow who is friendly to all he has met. He loves people and other dogs. As a young Springer, Max has some energy and really enjoys playing with other dogs, but he also enjoys his nap and cuddle time.
An active Forever Family is a must for Max. He enjoys the company of his older foster brother, but would happiest with a younger canine companion who shares his interest in doggy playtime. He has a lot of love to give and is ready for a loving Forever Home. Please let us know if you think you are the right family for Max!
Please submit an Online Adoption Application if you are interested in Max. It is always the first step in our adoption process.
