Hello, everyone! My name is Lucy. As you can see, I am a very pretty girl. My owners decided that they couldn’t take care of me any longer, so they contacted ESRA and asked them to help. Now I am looking for a new Forever Home. I hope it will be one with a nice, shady yard so I can sniff to my heart’s content.

I am very good when I ride in a car. I am a typical Springer who enjoys being with people of all ages and delights in being cuddled. Oh, — did I mention that I absolutely love children? I am a very calm, laidback type of girl. When I am outside, I like to find a nice, cool, shady spot where I can snooze away the day. I sure hope my foster mom can find me a new family that will take me for walks and let me hang out with them while they watch T.V. or work in the yard. I am happiest when my head is resting in your lap and you are rubbing my ears!

Lots of Springer cuddles,

From her foster mom: Lucy is a very easy, happy girl who takes everything in stride – even her very bossy foster sister! Lucy has not been tested with cats. She is housetrained and doggie-door trained, and she knows basic commands such as Sit, Down, and Stay. Lucy sleeps all night in her crate without a peep. She walks on a loose leash. Lucy is a true Velcro dog who enjoys going for walks and being with her humans. She loves dog parks and the beach. She will chase and fetch a ball, but not too many times.

Lucy is a gentle soul with a true Springer spirit that wants to please more than anything. Like most Springers, she needs a yard to play in and would dearly love to have a family to call her own forever. Lucy adores children of all ages and is extremely gentle with them. Her favorite sound is the one the treat lid makes when it is opened. She comes running and sits, knowing what is waiting for her!

Lucy is up to date on all her shots, is microchipped, has been spayed, and has tested negative for heartworm. With the exception of being allergic to lamb protein, Lucy has no medical issues. She is a healthy, happy, wonderful girl who is looking for a fun and loving Forever Family to belong to. Do you have time to devote to Lucy and a place in your heart and family for her? If so, please have an approved application on file and be prepared to fall in love.
