- Liver & white
Little Dakota came to ESRA when her family could no longer keep her. Her original name was Little Dog, but her foster family modified it to reflect the state from which she originated.
This lovely girl arrived a bit overweight, but her foster parents are working to help her shed a few pounds. Little Dakota has a Springer foster brother, and she becomes a bit more relaxed in her foster home each day. She has a pretty white tail and a sweet personality!
If you're looking for a cuddler, Little Dakota is your girl. She is a true Velcro dog who just likes to be where the humans are. She enjoys being around children and snuggling with them, too.
Little Dakota enjoys daily walks, but she could use some training concerning leash pulling. She does have good recall and knows the commands Go Outside, Go Potty, Lie Down and Sit (sometimes!). She is content to chew on bones and play with toys.
This girl has lots of love to give and is ready to meet her Forever Family. If Little Dakota sounds like just the one for you, please contact her case manager at the email address below.
Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and the final decision rests with the dog’s case manager.
