Hello, Jack here. I will be 6 months old next week. I'm very smart and really do want to please my people; agility would be great for me as I love to listen and learn and run! I am also a "snuggle Springer."
Of course I'm still a puppy so I do have to be watched as my inquisitiveness means I just have to explore everything! I am crate trained (keeps me out of trouble) and I sleep in my crate at night. I am also housetrained and neutered. I'm told all these are good, so of course, this makes me happy. I do like toys and love my puppy food.
I haven't met a person I don't like. In a previous foster home I lived with two children and two smaller animals called cats. The cats scared me! I am always happy, thunder and other noises don't seem to bother me. I would need a fenced yard to be able to run and play. I chase a Frisbee and have no problem relinquishing so I can run some more to chase again. I am such a good boy and love a gentle hand to hug me! I know I will be a great life-long companion for one lucky family.
Love to all, Jack
PS: The reference below is from my foster mom and dad
Jack has a big personality -- like any puppy. He would love an adopter who would include him to enjoy outdoor activities, such as biking, running, walking or just lots and lots of playing. He is a sweet boy and of course, gets excited meeting new people. After a few minutes of cuddling and puppy loving, he will lie down next to you. He doesn't beg at the dinner table but lies quietly.
He enjoys chasing butterflies and lizards and running around the yard. Jack understands the words "No, " "Stay," "Sit" and "Down." Because is so young the simple commands need to be reinforced.
As with all our Springer puppies, we do require his new adopter to enroll him in a puppy training class. This is where he will learn structure, basic commands and socialization skills.
