Jack is so happy to get a second chance in life! This young man enjoys cuddling with his foster family, using the doggie door and zooming around the fenced backyard. In fact, a fenced yard is a requirement. He is an energetic guy and an eager, smart student who learned the doggie door in two days and quickly mastered housetraining.

Jack is getting along with everyone in foster care, including several resident dogs. He fits right in with the pack and doesn’t try to be the boss. With new people, he is shy at first, then warms up and wants to be loved.

From his foster mom: “He’s a snuggler. He starts off just with his head in your lap then slowly slinks up into your lap before you even know it happens. It’s adorable!”

He needs plenty of exercise and some additional training. An active owner willing to take him on long walks or runs would make Jack a happy pup. He does have a lot to say so neighbors in close proximity might object to his barking.
