Jack was relinquished to a Florida shelter with his senior companion at the beginning of February 2019. Despite showing the signs of severe neglect, he was immediately excited to be part of his new foster family. For more information on Jack’s medical needs, please click on the Special Needs logo to go to his Special Needs page.
Jack is a character -- a big boy with a BIG personality. He may have just turned 12 but he fully participates in the world around him. Jack is a very sweet boy who has immediately integrated into his foster home with his ESRA Springer sister and a Dalmatian rescue mix. If Jack is feeling his oats, he will chase and roughhouse with the cat. Jack is loaded with a can-do personality.
Jack immediately began eating well, and this boy loves his warm baths in the shower for his skin. After a bath, you can catch him squirming on his back making the most delightful sounds. His skin has started to clear up and his fur is growing. He has learned to play with toys, and is enjoying them immensely! The squeaky ones are his favorite. He has a spring in his step now and is often seen wagging his tail.
This dear boy deserves a chance to enjoy the new-found happiness he is experiencing today, and WOW does he sure enjoy life! We should all have his positive attitude.
