Hunter is a healthy, young-at-heart guy who has learned his manners well. He is good with kids and other dogs, and he is also housetrained. Hunter has earned free rein in his foster home when the humans are away. When they are home, he loves to snuggle up to his people. He also loves his doggie bed.
This handsome boy will bark at other dogs, but don’t let that fool you. He wants them to come to his yard to play! Hunter also likes to talk to people, and his voice sounds like a series of tiny growls. It’s very entertaining to listen to his commentary.
Prior to coming into ESRA’s care, Hunter lived outside for much of his life and was fed table scraps. Now his foster family is feeding him healthy food and helping him to take some weight off. Hunter’s coat is starting to become beautiful and shiny again as it grows out after a much-needed grooming.
Hunter has recently been to see the vet. While he was there he was neutered, and he had a few benign lumps removed. He has received all his shots, so he is now ready to go to his Forever Home.
His very experienced foster family made the comment that Hunter is one of the best foster dogs they've ever had.
