Our Graci is a petite bundle of energy and love! She loves to romp in the backyard, runs like a sprinter and has played well with both her younger and older foster brothers, although she outlasts both of them in play. Graci is a puppy teenager who is enjoying her exuberance and seeing what her healthy young body can do. When she is done with playtime, she loves to be with her people, snuggle and take a nap.
Graci is a friendly girl who loves meeting people and gets along well with other dogs and the resident cats, although she can be a bit shy upon first meeting a new dog. She is doggy door trained, house trained and does well in her crate at night. However, she protests a bit when crated during the day. She is able to entertain herself with her nylabone, rope toys and a kong.
Graci is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Training is important for Graci and we recommend basic obedience training upon adoption. She came to ESRA from an elderly family that couldn’t handle her energy. Although Graci has learned Sit and takes treats well, when she is excited she jumps up and may lightly nip. Because of these behaviors and her high energy, we do not recommend a home with small children. She would love to have another dog who likes to play as much as she does. Graci needs a home with a securely fenced yard that is large enough to allow her to run like the wind!
Graci has some work to do on house manners. She is a bright little girl with a lot of energy that needs to be redirected. She will love the challenge of learning and needs a family who is committed to helping her become an even more awesome young dog. Graci’s foster home tells us that she is a sweet girl with a fantastic personality. She has an affectionate nature and loves to be petted and loved.
Please let us know if you think you might be the right Forever Family for our lively and loving young girl.
Please submit an Online Adoption Application if you are interested in Graci. It is always the first step in our adoption process.
