Sugar and spice and everything nice – that is our sweet Daisy Mae!
Daisy Mae came to us as a stray so we don’t know much about her. But one thing we do know is that she deserves far better than her condition at intake. She was terribly matted with stained fur, blind in her right eye, had raging ear infections, and had a mouthful of broken and busted teeth.
Upon arrival to ESRA, Daisy Mae’s little nub of a tail wags non-stop! In fact, sometimes she wags so hard her little body looks like a comma!
Daisy Mae has been seen by two ophthalmologists and both have confirmed that Daisy Mae suffered a catastrophic injury to the right eye but does not appear painful. She is fully sighted in her left eye. She has also had several tooth extractions so no longer has those busted up teeth.
Her foster mom reports that she is house-trained, crate trained and makes an absolutely perfect house guest. Daisy Mae gets along well with the resident dogs and cats, sleeps in her foster mom’s bedroom on a dog bed, and walks beautifully on a leash. She knows sit, high five and come! She has never met a stranger and just oozes sweetness everywhere she goes.
Daisy Mae is ready to bring her sweet self to your home – are you ready?
