This drop-dead gorgeous boy is Bubba!
Bubba is looking for his real Forever Home this time. His original family kept him for years despite his not caring much for the other small dogs in the home. Hence, he spent most of his time secluded in a bedroom. Then a wonderful woman came along and gave him an amazingly loving home. However, after several months despite how much she adored him, she realized she couldn't give Bubba all that this great boy deserved. And here he is and we couldn't be happier about it!
Bubba is a pretty laid-back guy. He's easy going, is very well socialized and enjoys meeting everyone. He's well mannered, loves the car, walks fairly well on a leash, fares well left out and about in the house when alone and is house trained. We believe he did grow up with children although we're unsure of their ages. Bubba would love a family who is stay- or work-at home, one who would enjoy daily walks with him, and one with a fenced yard where he can enjoy being a Springer and taunting the squirrels. Bubba has done well with other dogs at the dog park and great interacting with others at daycare. Yet, given his history and in Bubba's best interest, we prefer to place Bubba as the "one and only" in his family so that he never has to be rehomed again. We don't know if he's had any history with cats.
He's in good health, current on all his vetting, neutered, tested negative for heartworms and is microchipped to ensure he can also get back home. Bubba does need to lose a few pounds. A healthy food and good daily exercise should do the trick in no time.
If you've already fallen in love with this dreamboat of a guy and feel you are a perfect home for Bubba, please email his Case Manager quickly. We're pretty confident he's going to be a wonderful addition to the right family.
Please submit an Online Adoption Application if you are interested in Bubba. It is always the first step in our adoption process.
