Brandi is a beautiful, energetic girl. She is calm and sweet in between her bursts of energy. She loves to be outside, and a fenced yard is a requirement for her adoption. She keeps her nose to the ground, always sniffing for critters, and will bark to tell you that she saw or heard something interesting (inside or outside.)
Brandi needs an all-adult Forever Home and a home without cats. She should attend a basic obedience class with her new owners where she can refine her leash-walking skills, learn to greet visitors calmly and build confidence. If something spooks her on a walk, she will stop in her tracks and refuse to move.
She loves to romp with other dogs and play with toys. She also loves to cuddle, and is quick to jump on the couch or bed and sit right on top of you (even if not invited.)
Brandi had a minor knee injury while with her prior home, and X-rays coincidentally revealed hip dysplasia. She does not show any signs of pain or problems now, but may end up needing surgery on her right hip at some point in her life if her mobility or comfort changes.
Please submit an Online Adoption Application. It is always the first step in our adoption process.
