Boomer is a four-and-one-half-year old liver-and-white boy ready to meet his Forever Family. Boomer and another Springer who were litter mates were relinquished to ESRA due to health issues that prevented their original family from continuing to care for both dogs.
Originally we thought that both dogs needed to be kept together, but we found out that they would get into fights with each other. We thought that Boomer would be okay with another dog that wasn't related but have decided that he must be an only dog. Boomer is unknown with cats.
Boomer is extremely loving to people. He is happy to snuggle and get belly rubs. He loves cuddling up to his person on the couch or sharing their bed at night.
Boomer does not like to be bothered when he is eating. He was teased at a fence line before he came to ESRA, so he is wary of children. Because of these two issues, we don't feel that Boomer should be placed in a home with small children.
