Hello! My name is Bodie. My foster parents describe me as a very sweet and energetic boy. I love going to the beach with them, and I have learned how to swim and play with lots of other dogs there. It's so much fun! I love both other dogs and cats, but when I meet a new cat, please give us careful introductions. You see, I might be a bit too rough in sniffing, and kitties do not like it when I slobber on them, even if I'm trying to be friendly and affectionate. One thing I have to admit is that I really DO NOT like chickens, so I need a Forever Home that is fowl free!

My foster mom and dad say that I am a fast learner, but I am still interested in going to doggie school. I hear that all the best-behaved dogs have graduated, and I'd like to earn my certificate, too! Also, I know that these obedience classes will be a really good opportunity to strengthen the bond between me and my people.

I am still pretty young at about a year and a half old, so sometimes I still like to chew on things that may not be for me. That means that I do best in a crate when I'm left alone. I'm proud to say that I have not had any accidents in the house for a very long time. Once I settle down from the day's activities, I enjoy relaxing and cuddling. I am a great kisser! I still need reminding that the couch is not for me to jump on, but I am trying to remember. I really love playing outside. I will stay close, but my foster parents say that a fenced yard or a long lead is a good idea for now.

I am looking for a Forever Family that is active and can join me in my favorite activities -- car rides, hiking, going to the beach, and snuggling. I would do best in a household where someone will be home with me for most of the time. Also, because I am so young and exuberant, it will be best if any kids in my new family are a bit older than five. That's because I would hate to knock over a toddler in my excitement.

Thank you for reading about me. If you think you have a place for me in your home and your heart, please contact my case manager by phone or email. I can't wait to meet you!

Love and Springer kisses,
