- Liver & white
From Bentley’s foster mom: When you love another being, you find a way to take care of them. You just do. Bentley was one person’s best friend for most of his life, until that person suffered multiple strokes. With love in mind, Bentley was turned over to ESRA.
This sweet boy has been with us since October of 2018. He was in need of both medical care and time to find out what living in a home was all about. His medical needs have been met, but he may face recurring lipomas, which are benign fatty tumors. He also has spots of alopecia, which may or may not fill in (you will see light spots on his back in his photos).
Sweet Bentley has learned to live with multiple dogs, preferring the girls over the boys. He has succeeded in housetraining us, and he has learned how to use a doggy door. He walks well on the leash, rides well crated in the car, and enjoys restful nights in the crate. He will come when called when he is off leash. He is good with people of all ages, though he will likely bond with one person at a time.
As I sit writing these words, Bentley is curled up beside me. He adores attention and routines. A stable lifestyle would suit him just fine. He loves his chew toys, and popcorn seems to have a magical place in his heart!
Bentley will require a home with a secure yard (he is also invisible fence trained). He needs a person willing to take him for daily walks and give him lots of unconditional love. He will devote himself to you and welcome others to join him.
If you have love in your heart, please consider making room there for Bentley. He is a beautiful boy inside and out, and he deserves the very best that life has to offer.
