Sweet Bella is looking for a Forever Family with lots of love to share. She was primarily an outdoor dog, but has now discovered the joys of indoor family life in foster care. Human attention is her number one priority; in fact, if the petting stops for too long, she will whine to let her people know that she’s ready for more!
Bella likes going on walks to meet and greet the neighbors. She is very outgoing and friendly. She is hampered by a little arthritis. She has trouble maneuvering stairs and hardwood floors. She can take short walks, but has trouble with lots of hills on walks. She takes glucosamine to help with the arthritis.
After an outing, her favorite thing to do is cuddle on the couch with her people, laying her head in an available lap. Treats are also much appreciated.
Bella is smart and has learned a lot in foster care. She has mastered “Sit,” “Stay” and “Place” and is working on “Shake,” “Down” and “Roll Over.”
Although she would rather hang out with humans than other dogs, Bella gets along well with her canine foster brother. Now that she has mastered housetraining, she stays with her brother while the humans are away. She will whine when crated.
