Bailey is a sweet, spunky, middle-aged girl who is active and athletic. She loves her morning and evening thirty minute daily walks. She hunts lizards and bugs, springing and pouncing like a youngster. She also enjoys exploring her yard with her nose to the ground. Once inside she settles down on the couch for a snooze.

Because Bailey has French Brittany in her, she has a high prey drive. Therefore, no cats or chickens should be in her Forever Home. While Bailey enjoys children, the younger ones make her nervous. She would do best with no children under the age of twelve. She does have a frosted face that the vet feels is prematurely gray.

Bailey gets along nicely with the foster dogs she lives with but does not engage with them for play. She does enjoy exploring the yard with her canine siblings. In the house, she enjoys being close to the other dogs but she is also independent enough to go in another room and rest in her dog bed.

While Bailey would fit into most settings, she would really enjoy a home where her people are there most of the time. This little sweetie has been bounced around a lot in her life and now she deserves a stable Forever Home where she is the center of attention and a cherished family member. She adores people and soaks up all the attention she is given. Bailey has excellent house manners and does not need to be crated when left alone. She is house trained and sleeps through the night in a dog bed in the master bedroom, although she would love to sleep with you in your bed. She is dog door trained and rides well in the car.

Bailey’s foster family has been working on her leash manners. She is doing better but will need additional work on these skills. She is healthy and fit, she is up to date on vaccinations, she is heart worm negative and microchipped.

Bailey is a small, sweet, affectionate girl with a lot of love to give. She has a happy disposition and a sense of humor.

If you feel you can cherish Bailey in the manner that she deserves, please contact her coordinator.
