Annie would love to celebrate her 10th birthday right after July 4th with a new Forever Home. She came to us after being an outside dog. She is so grateful for life inside that she is a perfect angel. She’s perfectly housetrained (and takes a medication called Proin to stop leakage) very well-mannered in the house. She’s not crate-trained, but doesn’t need to be. She rides well in the car, but prefers the floorboard. She’ll be content to sleep on a dog bed, or anywhere that she is invited, and would love a short walk or two a day.

She’s got some arthritis in her hips, so she doesn’t jump or countersurf. It would be best if her new home did not have a lot of stairs. Annie wishes just to be petted and have a soft spot to sleep. She has been with another dog for most of her life, so she’d most likely enjoy a canine companion too. She’s completely unknown with cats though. She’s been around children and does fine with them.

Annie is on the small side for Springers, but she is a little overweight at 47 pounds, and has a couple of harmless fatty lumps. Annie is the perfect, quiet, low-maintenance companion and would love find a Forever Home of her own!
