Meet our precious little Amy. This girl is a lot of dog in a small package. She quickly settled in to the routine of her foster home. She has mastered the dog door and she is crate trained. She often goes in the crate for a nap or to play with a toy. It is not necessary to crate her when you leave, as she is trustworthy while you are gone with free range of the house.
Amy walks well on a leash and loves to go on walks. As she is an energetic young dog, she benefits from daily exercise. Her new Forever Family must be committed to continuing her daily exercise.
Amy gets along with other dogs including her foster brother, although she can get a little jealous of toys. She has met young children in the park and greets them seeking attention. Her foster mom is working on commands with Amy. She is very smart and treat motivated, so she learns quickly.
Amy is reluctant to get in the car on her own. But once loaded in the car, she rides well and seems to like the journey. She is a little startled around new noises in the home, such as the dishwasher. She only barks at appropriate noises. She loves her food and treats and is very good for her bath. Amy sleeps on her dog bed at night in the master bedroom. She is allowed on the couch in her foster home where she loves to cuddle and give kisses. Her foster mom says she is a total love bug and never meets a stranger.
Amy is up to date on all vaccines, is spayed, and is heart worm negative.
