Our AKC Parent Club, the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association (ESSFTA), shows its support for breed rescue!  ESRA is frequently a recipient of very generous donations.  It's so heartwarming to know that the keepers of the gene pool appreciate what we do for the breed. A special thanks to Dr. Doug Honken, DVM, of the Animal Health Center in Laramie, WY, for all the things he has done for our Springers in need of major surgical help. Jennifer Wittes is a member and foster home. She and her fiancé Chris submitted a grant to their employer, Verizon for a Volunteer Incentive Program Grant and each of them received an award of $750, so ESRA got $1500. for their hours for fostering Dillion, near Dallas, TX.
The Dallas-Fort Worth English Springer Spaniel Association, DFWESSA, is always there with a generous helping hand when needed by a Springer in peril in their area.  "No matter what!"
ESRA is honored to be the recipient of a grant in 2008, which has also generously been repeated in 2009, from The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive Foundation for our work in finding homes for deserving dogs.  This Foundation is funded through consumer donations and contributions from the PEDIGREE Brand though their PEDIGREE Adoption Drive .  Thank you very much PEDIGREE Foundation!
Sincere thanks to The Santa Fe Dog Obedience Club for it's generous donation. ESRA is the recipient of some of the club's remaining funds as it regretfully closes its doors.

Elsie S Borkow passed in April, 2008, and she loved all animals, but especially her Springer, CJ.

Mike Napierkowski passed away in 2007, leaving ESRA as the beneficiary of his life insurance policy.  He adored English Springer Spaniels and wanted to make sure ESRA was well-funded and able to continue it's work. Many families' lives will be touched as a result of Mike's generous forethought.
ESRA is the grateful recipient of a genereous donation from the Central Iowa Kennel Club. Our thanks go out to you guys for thinking of our needy Springers!
Thanks to Patty Gibbons for nominating ESRA when The Minnesota Mixed Breed Club decided they would like to donate money they raised from their Agility Fun Matches to various nonprofits their members felt passionate about and would like to support financially. ESRA was the lucky recipient of $710.
Thanks to the Twin Cities Voyageur English Springer Spaniel Association , in Minnesota.  At their annual banquet in February 2007, they sold tickets for a framed print of Springers and also for a basket of dog items. They donated the proceeds to ESRA!
Thanks to Susan Still, who sold her car through a company that sends the proceeds to the 501(c)(3) of their choice. ESRA received a check for $1,120.00 for the net proceeds from the sale of her car through this organization.
In November 2006, Steve and Kaye Klein hosted the Phoenix area ESRA volunteers, and had a hugely successful garage sale that netted over $2300 to benefit ESRA's dogs.
Marie Heinking has been recognized by the J C Penny Company Fund with a $500 donation to ESRA for her volunteer efforts with this organization.
