Noah - Charleston, SC

ESRA #2006-767SC

11/12/06:   Great News! Noah is being adopeted by one of the veterinary technicians who helped with his surgery. Thanks from ESRA!

Age: 18 months
Gender: Male
Color: Liver/White
Weight: 38 lbs.
Variety: Field-Bred

Noah was found as a stray by a woman on vacation and turned into a vet's office to be held the mandatory seven day time period.   They searched for his owners to no avail, then contacted ESRA volunteers on his behalf.  When his hold was up, they x-rayed his leg and found it was broken.  It's a pretty bad break located above his knee.  The good news is, because it is above the knee, with surgery to pin it, he has an excellent prognosis of full recovery and there is no greater risk of arthritis than any other dog because the break is above the joint.

Noah is a sweet boy and after surgery will be looking for a very special family who will love him and keep him safe and out of harms way.   Thanks to ESRA, this young, 18 month old sweet boy is being given that chance.   Noah will have his surgery and if all goes well will be in his ESRA foster home by the weekend to begin his physical therapy.  Please help us cover the costs of Noah's very necessary surgery and put the pep back in the boys step!
