This cute little boy is Oreo and he has been at the shelter for far too long, since the beginning of December. His family lost their home and were unable to care for him any longer. He is a young pup, he will be a year old in May and because he has been cooped up in a kennel for so long he has alot of excess energy he needs to release but with love, training, exercise and consistency he will be a wonderful new family member for some lucky person or family. Hello my name is Lawson. I am a sweet little guy here that would love a new home. I was just wandering down the road when some really nice guy stopped and picked me up so I wouldn't get hurt. Somebody had loved me at some point cuz I am in really good shape, and I have been well taken care of and I am very well mannered. I am a little sad looking but that's just cuz I wanna find my family. I don't understand what I'm doing here and its not really that bad here but being home would be really great. I like to cuddle with my people, I'm a big boy but I still think I need to be held or on your lap. Cinder came in as a stray, and sadly, no one came to claim him. We have him listed as a Springer Spaniel/Australian Shepherd mix, but is exact breeding is unknown. Whatever he is, though, one thing is certain. This is a great dog! He is very affectionate, knows basic commands, is playful, smart, and gentle. One meeting with Cinder is all it will take to know what a gem this boy is.

Lady was surrendered because previous owner just didn't have enough time. She loves to go to the lake in the summer. Lady is house trained and crate trained. She is very excited when she first gets into the house, but settles down. She is high-energy and very smart, playful and loyal. She will bark at the door when she needs to go potty. She has been out in the woods a few times and not gun-shy, no hunting skills known at this time. Lady loves to play with big rubber tire toys, which are available at the shelter and she loves to play fetch. She's great with other dogs and kids. She finds cats fascinating and will chase them, so she might not do so well in a home with cats.

Memphis here! I'm one happy and lucky boy. I found myself in a shelter in southern Ohio and let me tell you it was not where a handsome boy like myself belongs.
I'm believed to be a Springer Spaniel mix and about 10 months old. Rescue life is great! I get many treats when I sit like a gentleman and I'm being taught what manners are. Unfortunately, my old home didn't work on that too much with me so I'm making up for it now!
My foster mom also says I need a haircut so I will be getting one of those soon! I'm fully vaccinated, neutered, and even microchipped! My ideal home would be one with a fenced yard and an active family. I would love to attend obedience classes! I'm a quick learner and would make my family very proud. Since I have a lot of energy having a fenced yard where I can chase after toys would be a great time.
I like kids and all but I like to jump and wouldn't want to knock anyone over so bigger kids would be best!! I hope I sound like the boy for you! I'm ready and willing to please!
Update 10/6: Memphis is doing great in foster care. He has been to many public events where he has shown how great he is with new people and even kids. He loves to be the center of attention and loves any toy you give him!

Black and white, 4 year old female border collie/springer mix needs home. "Happy" was brought to our clinic through animal control on 10/10. She is very sweet. She knows sit, down and shake. I have tried all avenues to find her original owner but have not been successful. I do need to find a home for her soon, we are a small clinic and do not have a lot of room to keep her for an extended period of time. Because "Happy" was brought in through animal control. I don't have any medical history, but she seems to be in good health. She is not very hyper like a typical border collie or springer. She is pretty laid back and loves attention.

My name is Ralphie, and this is my brother Gonzo. My brother and I were abandoned when we were puppies and adopted by a great family. We have been very happy playing with stuffed animals and playing tug with our toy ropes.
It has been almost 7 years and Gonzo and I are inseparable...to tell you the truth, I really need Gonzo… As the years have gone by, our family has gotten pretty busy, especially with a new baby. Now Gonzo and I spend a lot of time on our own. We entertain ourselves for many hours a day looking out the window. Well things have changed and we need a new home. Heath is a 4-5 year old English Springer Spaniel. He is a wonderful companion who needs a special home. He was rescued from our local impound so we are unsure of his past, although we think he may have spent several years in severe pain. Heath was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Now that he is taking medication he is a happy dog and is feeling great.
Heath is a mellow laid back Spaniel but loves to go for walks and spend time outdoors with his foster family. When he first came to us, Heath did not want to have anything to do with the other foster dogs. We aren't sure if this was because of his pain or that he prefers not to socialize. He is now much better at accepting being close to the others, but will need a home as an only dog or possibly with one that is as uninterested in a "4-legged friend" as he seems to be.
Heath has a lot of love to give to the right person. He is house trained, crate trained and current on vaccinations. Heath will need to continue on his medication for the rest of this life which will run about $1.50 per day.
