HAPPY ENDINGS!

ZOE

I got Zoe a few days after my birthday, she was the best birthday present I ever got. My grandmother took me to see her and another dog to pick out one, If I liked one. I brought along a Frisbee to play with and Zoe loved it, she would chase it and bring it back but run away before anyone could take it to throw again. I knew she was the dog for me. She was so full of energy and life, that is why I changed her name from Sadie to Zoe (it means life in Greek). After a while we left and decided to come to pick her up the day after my birthday party so she could get adjusted better.

After my party My friend Julie, my grandmother, and I went back to Zoe's house. She was just as energetic as before. We put her cage and a bag of treats in the car and she jumped in without any fuss. On the way home she was as good as gold. When we got home we took her for a walk around a lake near my home. Zoe had a ball, she chased ducks, rolled in the sand and explored the woods.

Zoe has become the official "greeter" she runs to the door and greets whoever is coming in. Some of her favorite things to do are, go for walks, lay behind my chair while I am doing homework, and jump on people lying on the couch.
