HAPPY ENDINGS!

WASTA

Wasta was a stray that came into the Black Hills Humane Society, SD on January 30, 2003. He is a English Springer Spaniel/Border Collie cross, a beautiful boy. It was there that he was named Wasta, the Lakota Sioux word meaning "good." His time there was running out when members of the English Springer Rescue America and other "angels" took over his future! February 20th he left the BHHS.

He was delivered to Phillip, SD by 2 really special ladies - Laura and Shelley - to a wonderful man that works rescuing Brittanies and Dave brought him here to us. Thanks so much Brian, Laura, Shelley and Dave. I really feel like I owe you all a big favor! Wasta came to our home on March 2,2003, he was going to be fostered by us until   he found his forever home

Well...

Wasta was in our home for a very short time as a foster, he now has a forever home with us. His adoption was final Friday April 11! We hope to have many happy years with this guy.

He loves attention, going for rides and walks too. He gets along well with all the rabbits (even the house rabbit) and watches over the young kits like a hawk, he even travels to rabbit shows with us... He is getting very spoiled and loved and spoiled even more.

If you have ever given thought to adding a dog to your life, please consider a shelter/rescue dog. I
