Hi, I'm Shiloh and my mommy wanted me to tell you my story.

I came from a cruel home where my owners beat me with my doggy brush every time I was bad. Then they let their little boy do cruel things to me and even damaged my tail so badly, I almost have nothing left. One day, they took me to this terrible place with cement and bars and never came back to get me. I guess I was there for two months, when this really nice grey-haired man came to see me. I know I barked at him, but he still petted me and said sweet things like "Oh you're so pretty - would you like to live with me?" A week later, he showed up with his wife and took me for a long ride - to La Palma, California!

Now I live in a beautiful two-story home with my mommy and daddy. Mommy works downtown Los Angeles, while daddy is retired, so he stays at home all day and plays with me. I sleep with them in their California King bed at night and, since mommy discovered I have a touch of hip displasia, she even bought me some steps for the bed so I won't have to jump down and hurt my back! I'll never forget the first time mommy gave me a bath, she just kept saying how pretty I was and what beautiful eyes I had and asked why I was so pretty! I even get into daddy's recliner and sleep on his lap every night. I love to cuddle. Too bad mommy doesn't have a puppy for her lap. I love my parents very much and have asked them to find me a brother or sister to sleep in mommys lap and play with me every day. I never knew being loved could feel so good!
