HAPPY ENDINGS!

SAMMIE

HI! My name is Sammie. I have lived with my Moms for one year now!! Judy Manley (Rescue Lady Extrodinaire) took me in as a stray when I was about 6 months old. She then shipped me off to Indianapolis, Indiana where I now live. I have two feline sisters, Sydney, who is black and white like me and Bailey, who is the Boss of us both. I have a great life, my Moms take me jogging in the mornings and then I get to go for a walk around the park at night or play tennis ball chase in the back yard. We go on car rides to cool places like PetsMart where I get to pick out a toy. They took me to a big lake this summer and I turned out to be an excellent swimmer and really never wanted to get out of the water.

I've taken Mom to 4 obedience classes so far this year and she still needs some practice before I can show her in Novice. She was even worse at agility, she could not keep up with me at all! I still love her though. I am so glad that Judy rescued me, I am quite spoiled and I wouldn't have it any other way!

The only odd thing about this whole arrangement is I don't know why my middle name is OFF! (at least I think that is my middle name because they often say to me SAMMIE OFF!), Seems weird to me.

These are some of the things that I taught my Moms this past year:

  1. All open trash cans must be replaced with trash cans with lids.

  2. Set the toilet paper on the shelf above the toilet instead of putting it on the holder, it will last much longer if I can't reach it.

  3. Don't leave paper products on the kitchen table when you leave.

  4. Butterflies and Bees will fly out of the flowers if I bark at them long enough.

  5. All toys are mine, even if they do have catnip in them.

  6. Underwear tastes much better than snausages.

  7. Squirrels are EVIL and must be eradicated from the yard at all costs.

  8. I have NO idea what the difference is between a flower and a weed.

  9. I really can tell time, especially on Saturday and Sunday, and "go back to bed" is really not an option.

  10. Springer eyes will keep me out of major trouble most of the time!

Thank you ESRA for helping me find a new and loving home!
