HAPPY ENDINGS!

SAM

Sam

After reading about so many happy endings I thought it was time that I write about our Sam.

Sam came to us a little over a year ago after what must have been a pretty traumatic past- with abit of separation anxiety (even a little to this day!!).Nonetheless, this happy little guy quickly adapted to his new home and to his new "parents." In December 2004 Sam embarked on a new adventure...he flew on a big Airbus with Dad (unfortunately in the dark cargo hold)to join Mom in Berlin, Germany. Yes, after a long journey and switching planes, Sam reached his final destination and has even started to lSamearn some German!!

Since doggies are allowed in many public places and on public transport, Sam has gone in department stores, bakeries(yum, yum),and banksand has travelled on subways, busses, trains and ferry boats. He has become quite the world traveller and urban dweller!! He is evengoing to doggie schoolevery Saturday to play with other doggies, learn some neat tricks, and a little obedience.

Sam is a joy, a real sweet Springer who clings to us like velcro. He loves his plush toys, playing tug-o-war, long walks, chasing birds, having his tummy rubbed, lounging on the couch and having someone give him attention all the time. We love him and he sure does give us lots of love, loyalty and affection in return. A big thank you to ESRA for making Sam available to us! Katy,
