HAPPY ENDINGS!

QUINN

It has been three years since my mom adopted me and oh, what a life it has been.  I grew up in Savannah, GA and when she adopted me, I moved to Atlanta right next to Piedmont Park.  Before and after my mom went to work, we would go to the park and I would play with all the dogs.  Then, my mom decided she wanted us to move to the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Now, I spend my days swimming in the creek by the house and playing in the mountains.  I love chasing squirrels and this summer I hiked my first two 14ers.  These are mountains that are taller than 14,000 feet.  I wear my booties on all of my snowshoe and hiking trips to protect my feet.  I have enclosed a picture of how handsome I look in my new shoes.

I am healthy and have dropped several pounds.  We are always at the vet because mom is paranoid that anything should happen to me.  This year I developed some allergies to the grass.  I have some yellow pills that go in my food to help decrease my sneezing fits.

I now live with a cat named Ziggy, and we get along great.  I gladly handed over the duty of protecting the house to Ziggy so I can spend my days on the couch or mom's bed.  My favorite trick to play on my mom is getting into her bed after our morning jog when I am a little muddy.  She then has to come home after work and wash her sheets which means more cuddle time for me!  I still must have something in my mouth at all times.  My mom has a basket of toys for me so I can grab them whenever I want.  My favorite toy right now is a big, green frog that ribbits when I bite on the right spot.  I just celebrated my 7th birthday on October 4th.  My mom got me more toys and a stand for my bowls so I no longer have to lean over to eat or drink.  Oh, the hardships of being a dog.

My mom is making me Frankenstein for Halloween.  I look very cute in my outfit but according to all the people we meet out in the trails, I am always cute so I don't quite understand why I have to dress up.  Regardless, hopefully I will get a couple of dog cookies out of the deal.    I want to thank all of you who helped get me and my mom together.  I don't know where she would be without me. We are both very happy and she spoils me with to no end.

Best wishes to all of you,

Quinn and Sally (my mom) Eldridge
