QUINCY
We are so happy to have Quincy in our lives. We saw his picture on the website and knew we just had to have him. He joined our family on my birthday; he was my birthday gift from Clint. That very first night, Quincy jumped in bed with the other two Springers and cuddled up with Clint. He slept the whole night with his head resting on Clint’s shoulder. Quincy is such a sweet and playful boy. He has added an element of fun and humor to our home again after the loss of a 14 year old Springer last year.
Quincy loves playing with Abigail and Jackson (his two Springer buddies) everyday, all day long. They have taught him all that they know…good and bad…and he is a fast learner. He knows exactly where we keep the treats! Sometimes, he chases the cats but they swat at his nose and he stops. He especially loves to eat the cat food (but we are breaking him of that habit).
Quincy, Abigail and Jackson love to go to the mountains to hike and run through the snow. Quincy has not experienced a Phoenix summer yet but we have a swimming pool for him to cool off in. Something tells me that we won’t be able to get him out of the pool once he tries it! This summer, we will be taking the Springers to the lake. Quincy has not been on the boat yet but I’m sure the others will show him what to do.
This picture was our Holiday card this year. Quincy (left), Jackson (right) and Abigail (middle) make quite the happy family. Quincy was the perfect addition.
