We adopted Mortie from the rescue site around the Cincinnati area. Mortie was found in Tennessee near Morristown (thus the name Mortie) and was fostered by Judy Manley.

Mortie has joined our other dog of 10 years and has made our home his home.  He is the most gentle and affectionate dog we have ever seen.  Because of his gentle nature we took him to be tested to become a senior citizen center "volunteer".  He has passed his test with flying colors and now we are awaiting assignment.  

Mortie has also put a little "spring" back in our older dog's step since he has come to live with us.  The older dog does tolerate him rather well, but there is a little jealousy since the new dog loves so much attention.

We are very happy to have adopted Mortie, and we are glad to have him as part of our family.
