MAVERICK
Hi, my name is Maverick and I want you to meet my new family. You can't see my new mom because she's taking the picture but this is my "sister" Shannon (I guess she's my sister cause she calls my new mom "Mom" too) and the little one I'm using for a cushion is her little girl, Alyssa. I didn't like Alyssa much when I first got here but we're learning to be friends now. She gives me treats every day. That's my new little brother, Itchy, up top there.
Sometimes he's a pest but I guess he likes me because he follows me around all over the house. I want to thank my foster mom, Judy Manley, for taking such good care of me and finding me a forever home where everybody really loves me a lot. I met lots of nice people on my trip from Ohio to Florida where I live now. My mom calls those people "Maverick's Angels". They sure were nice to me. I'm really happy here in my new home. My mom hugs me all the time and takes me for lots of walks and I have new toys that she let me pick out at the store. And I have a great big fenced in yard to play ball in. Maybe if we're lucky, I'll get a foster brother or sister soon.
