HAPPY ENDINGS!

LEO

Leo

LeoThese are pictures of my previous foster Leo. Leo came to us in July after being left at the shelter by his previous owner. Leo was VERY sick. He had sarcoptic mange with barely any hair on his limbs and belly and what hair was left on his back and ears was dry and dead. He also had a yeast infection covering his body, intestinal parasites and a bad case of HW.

After over 2 months he was finally healthy enough to go through HW treatment. He did ok, but after both rounds of treatment he was still HW+. His new mom Linda came to adopt him in the fall and it was love at first sight for both of them. Linda adores Leo and he has learned new tricks and loves cuddling up next to Linda on the couch each night. Leo is a rescue miracle. He's a sweet, gentle soul and as you can see in his new pictures as of December, he is sporting a luxurious and healthy coat with beautiful feathering!

LeoThe picture of him outside in the grass and sun was after he'd been in foster care for several weeks and had already begun to grown back his coat. I wish I had a real before picture because it would show how beautiful these dogs are under all the dirt, grime and sickness.

Thanks!!
Heather
