Hello,

We adopted Kiya (you may know her as Kaih) back in February of 2010. She is doing very well! The kids and I have bonded with her and she to us right off the bat. As time has gone by the last 6 months, I can tell she is settling in and comfortable. Where she used to be right by my side all the time, she started wanting to hang outside on the patio to bird and squirrel watch/chase. She’s quite the tree jumper and climber. Our resident squirrel likes to tease her as you can see in one of the pictures.

She’s a cuddly dog and puts up more than she should with some of the extra loves she gets from us. She seems to think she is part of the crew as when I lined the kids up to take a birthday picture she walked over, backed herself up right in line with the others. It was soooo cute! As you can see, she still needs to lose some weight. We’ve been trying on that path for awhile. She is a food hound!

Thank you for matching us with such a good dog. It amazes me how well mannered and trained she is. Thank you for all the work you do in rescuing and placing such great dogs!
