Dear ESRA:
After reading
several of the happy endings stories, I wanted to share another one. I didn't think I was quite ready to get another
springer ( I can't imagine owning any other breed) after losing my 12 year old springer last summer. Britton, my younger
springer, wasn't "cutting it" as an only dog, so I decided it was time. I submitted my application and Hunter (on the
right) arrived 2 weeks later - much faster than I thought it would take. I wasn't sure how Britton and I would adjust.
Hunter made that so easy - almost immediately he was part of the family. They have become best buddies. Hunter loves to
chase squirrels, take walks and cuddle just like his brother. Everyone loves his "smile" - it makes everyone laugh and
smile right back at him. What a blessing he has been in just 4 months! Hunter recently graduated from basic dog training
class and is looking forward to meeting many new play mates at BarkPark later this spring. I can't thank all of you
enough for your work . I recommend to anyone wanting a Springer to adopt through ESRA.
