Having known I wanted to rescue a Springer, I had been working with Karen Williams of ESRA in finding my new best friend. When Karen found my boy at the pound on a Saturday afternoon in September, he was scheduled to be put down that night. Because of Karen's great work and love for Springers, she brought him home and I went to meet him that same afternoon.

I knew instantly the two year old stray was the dog for me. Spirited and playful, "Griffey" and I are as happy as can be together. Loving and attentive, he's always at my side, and I look forward to years of happiness together. Thank you ESRA and Karen Williams for your commitment to rescuing Springers and helping me find my new best friend.
