GRANT WILLIAMS SZWENIK

We rescued Grant in December of 1999. In February, we learned that Grant had fatal heart damage from a past bacterial infection which was incurable.
The doctor gave him 3 or 4 months to live but he thrived with us until September of 2000, at which time he became too tired to get up anymore. Grant only lived for one and half years, but his life touched the hearts of many.
He howled Good Morning to us every day at 6 a.m.
Karen and Mike Williams took care of him until we could adopt him from them and from your wonderful organization. Grant is survived by Karen and Mike Williams, Susan Young, Walter Szwenik, and by me, Sally Szwenik.
