HAPPY ENDINGS!

FINLEY

I was adopted two months ago. Brooke and Jason came to see me at Aunt Marie's ranch where I had been staying while I waited for a new home. I was really impressed they traveled to Houston just to see me. I jumped into their car right away to show them how much I wanted to go home with them.

My new house is really cool. I have a backyard full of squirrels all to myself. Everyday I go with running and then do my clicker training. Jason lets me sleep on the futon in the back study, which is a lot better than that silly doggie bed Brooke bought for me. I've already mastered swimming in Lake Austin and riding around on boats. My favorite part is jumping in! Soon I start flyball classes. I run so fast and am so smart I know I'll be the star.

My loud barking got me in trouble at my last homes, but Jason and Brooke didn't mind. They showed me I didn't have to bark for attention. Now I just bark when new people come to the house or when the squirrels tease me.

One new trick that gets lots of laughs is my doggie dance and singing routine.

I love my new home so much. I get lots of belly rubs and doggie treats. Life has never been so good. The ERSA saved my life. I will always be greatful to Dr. Lisa, the vet who cured my heartworms, and to Aunt Marie who let me stay with her other rescue dogs while I got better. I look forward to seeing other doggie rescue stories like mine on this page.
